On Sunday mornings, volunteers (all Plan to Protect trained) staff our nursery, Jr. Kids and Kids church.
BAC believes that it is important for families to enjoy a portion of Sunday worship together. Therefore, programming for children in Jr. Kids Church and Kids Church begins at 11AM when the little ones are invited to leave the sanctuary.
Nursery (Ages 0 – 3) & Jr. KIDS Church (JR / SR Kindergarten)
Our nursery workers are dedicated volunteers will care for your child in a gentle and loving manner. There are always 2-3 adult workers in the room along with two teens who are there to help and play with the little ones. You must sign your child into the nursery at the beginning of each service, and also sign them out at the end of the service.
Children in junior and senior kindergarten will enjoy a rich and engaging curriculum that is presented through craft, song, and storytelling.
KIDS Church (Grades 1 – 5)
KIDS Church is a fun program for kids in Grades 1 to 5. Each week includes games and relevant, creative Bible teaching that focuses on a Biblical Virtue from 252 Basics. There are two teams of teachers, who teach bimonthly.
(First Sunday of every month at 10:45 a.m. from October to June.)This service kicks off the Biblical Virtue theme of the month for Kids Church. We have fun together as families enjoying dramas, games, worship, videos and Bible teaching. There is always lots of fun and laughter but each family also walks away with a family devotional pack to work on together at home to continue the learning throughout the rest of the month.
BLT (Bayridge Leaders In Training, Grades 6 – 8)
Students in these grades can sign up for this program to be assistants in the other three classrooms on Sunday mornings. This program starts at the beginning of October. Please speak with Joy if you have a child in these grades who is interested in joining this program.
VBC (Vacation Bible Camp)
Every summer BAC turns into a wonderland of fun for kids! Built around a theme, each year teaches Bible truths in an engaging manner. Children enjoy music, crafts, games and food!
